Job Summary
- Conduct research on pricing trends, analyse current competitor pricing and prepare cost-benefit analysis for identified product offerings.
Principal Functions
- Responsible for analysing roaming & IDD tariffs and offers on Etisalat network.
- Manage stakeholders in interconnect, wholesale roaming, consumer & business segment teams and IT for roaming tariff implementation.
- Ensure all PRAs and IOTs (Preferred roaming agreements and international operator tariffs) obtained from the wholesale team are properly captured and analysed for new or revamp of roaming tariffs.
- Responsible for monthly reporting and analysis of roaming & IDD revenue.
- Proactively monitor competitors’ pricing and analyse the impact on Etisalat roaming & IDD tariffs.
- Produce daily, weekly, ad-hoc and monthly Market update reports on key drivers and variance analysis on Etisalat and competition
- Producing monthly reporting on KPIs (ARPU, Subs, Rev, Market share)
- Track implementations of identified business opportunities based on agreed parameter and provide insight to the business.
- Trend the impact of competition product launch and availability on our network
- Develop business rules / documentation for Etisalat business reporting requirements
- Carry out other assignments as directed by line Manager, Pricing
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Social sciences, Economics / Statistics and Business management
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Minimum of one year post NYSC experience
- Knowledge of Syniverse, EDCH and Telarix data platforms to extract data for Analysis.
- Must possess commercial and economic awareness, including an awareness of global economic factors that can influence the telecom industry.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, Excel and Power-point.

Job Title: Manager, Data Centre M & E
Location: Abuja
Job Summary
- Manage all network operations and maintenance activities of the data centre, including capacity monitoring and supervision of all network element installations.
Principal Functions
- Ensure AC power and cooling availability target of 99.8% in Data Centres/MGW sites
- Ensure DC power and cooling availability target of 100% in Data Centres/MGW sites
- Ensure strict control and compliance to Data Centers and MGW sites Access procedures
- Ensure strict compliance of change request execution, oversee all routine and corrective maintenance for power and cooling systems, spare parts management and inventory, space management, equipment records and performance data.
- Ensure all operation/implementation activities in the Data Centres are executed in a professional manner and in compliance with the approved change request and access procedures.
- Monitor and control network element capacity utilization and always ensure that utilization level does not exceed industry standard.
- Prepare reports on capacity constraints to the relevant units for possible equipment upgrade.
- Support the network quality assurance team in regular monitoring, tracking and reporting of discrepancies in network elements and reporting same to the relevant stakeholders.
- Keep an updated list and layout of all nodes installed in the data centre indicating clearly their details/specifications, near and far end connectivity
- Ensure all installed equipment in the data centre is maintained in accordance with the outlined maintenance schedules and procedures and keep comprehensive maintenance history of all equipment.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with switch implementation vendors as well as coordinate maintenance activities between the vendors and internal stakeholders in terms of planning, scheduling and database management.
- Ensure compliance with the organization’s quality policy on all core network O & M and identify areas where the quality policy needs improvement for escalation to the quality assurance unit for appropriate action.
- Any other duty that will be assigned to you by your line manager

- Responsible for analyzing Roaming, VAS and POI performance on the network and follow-up to ensure quality of service standards are strictly adhered to.
Principal Functions
- Manage all roaming performance Analysis (Data, Voice, SMS).
- Responsible for VAS services performance analysis e.g. SMS, VSMS, RBT, DT, MCN, USSD etc.
- Manage performance analysis of all local and international POIs.
- Followup on all issues related to Roaming, VAS and POI until they are resolved.
- Propose solutions to solving all Roaming, VAS and POI problems on the network.
- Liaise with Network Operations and Wholesale & Carrier teams to resolve all Zero ASR issues on the network on both local and international POIs.
- Work with the drive test team to analyze the roaming drive tests.
- Coordinate all VAS related performance degradation with VAS planning and Operations to resolve all issues.
- Escalate all degradations in ASR, NER and ALOC to the relevant teams to resolve the problems.
- Work with the Roaming and Network operations teams to solve all roaming related issues for both inbound and outbound calls.
- Implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments.
- Report as necessary on changes in standards (internally and externally initiated) and on performance against standards as customer perception side
- Perform any duties as assigned by Manage, QoS Analysis.
Educational Requirements

- Assist in the design, planning and optimization of circuit switching components of Etisalat’s core network, systems and platforms.
Principal Functions
- Provide input in translating Etisalat business plan and subscriber growth assumptions into requirements for the core network circuit switching system.

Job Title: Head, Transmission

Job Summary
- Coordinate the design, planning and optimisation of the transmission network of Etisalat
Principal Functions
- Provide inputs in the development of strategies and plans towards the implementation of a working WAN,and transmission links (E1s, Backbones etc.) to support operational and business needs.
- Ensure that Etisalat’s microwave network design strategy is in line with accepted local and international standards.
- Develop short, medium and long term transmission solutions for Network evolution e.g. for GeneralPacket Radio Service (GPRS), Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS)etc
- Lead the conceptualization, planning and development of customized technical solutions for enterprise business customers
- Review the end to end technical design proposal to meet specific requirements of the enterprise customers.
- Manage the execution of the unit’s work programs and plans.
- Coordinate the evaluation of local and global telecommunications trends and development and implement strategies to counter/minimize possible impact on the architecture and integrity of the access network
- Keep abreast of global and local best practice as it relates to transmission planning and design.
- Identify required resources, personnel, funding to achieve the unit/ function’s strategy.
- Establish and maintain relationship with key internal and external stakeholders.

- Define and direct transmission planning to support Etisalat network rollout.
- Oversee the design and planning of Etisalat’s microwave transmission network.
- Oversee the design and planning of the links between the Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) and Mobile Switching Centres (MSC) to achieve full optimisation.
- Oversee the design and planning of Etisalat’s cable transmission network.
- Facilitate the design of backbone and Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) network.
- Coordinate the mapping out of Internet Protocol (IP) service connectivity.
- Oversee the design and planning of the integration of Etisalat’s IP network
- Oversee the development and maintenance of a structured expansion plan for future traffic growth and technology evolution.
- Plan and manage the human and material resources of the team/ function to optimise performance, morale and enhance productivity.
- Manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions.
